TV’s all in a row. a line of them, all showing a man seated, absently, at a desk.
no picture behind him, no window either, just a blankish wall.
it was a small, a plainish desk, not the kind for a CEO. the man was small and plainish, too.
there was no computer, calculator or telephone on the desk. its surface was empty.
the man did not speak. offered no salutation or salute. he just sat, so still.
he did not smile, nor did he grimace. he seemed disinterested. just sat
so still. one day this message came. it was plain. it was unadorned. it was
overlooked.
